This popular 1-day annual BBQ and beer event sells which out fast will once again be held at the Phillips Brewery “Back yard”.
An exceptional group of chefs from Victoria sharpen their knives for the most unique culinary experience. In addition to meat education, Brewery and the Beast provides guest the opportunity to taste and sample dishes from some of the top chefs in the city.
Local chefs showcase their talent on the plate with tantalizing samples representing a vast array of meat preparations, including whole animal roasts, charcuterie, classic BBQ, traditional, ethnic, modern, and exotic dishes prepared from an assortment of conventional and rare cuts of protein.
Only the finest selections of locally sourced products are featured. Farms from BC and Alberta who are committed to responsible and ethical farming practices supply chefs with an outstanding variety of proteins to be included in their preparations.
To top of the fun, there will be live music from The Electric Timber Company and Phillips Brewing Company will offer a diverse selection of their award winning beers for guests to pair with their dishes. There will be Left Field Cider, premium BC wines and non-alcoholic options as well.
“Brewery & The Beast was created to educate our guests on the importance of becoming a conscientious consumer. It is more important than ever to support local farmers and food producers by purchasing their harvest in restaurants, grocery stores, and markets. By providing our guests with a tangible experience of how these foods taste, information about the farms they come from, and where they can purchase these products, we can achieve the goals of the event,” according to event organizers.
Tickets go on sale Monday, May 30th at 10 a.m. For those interested in attending, we highly encourage you purchase a ticket as soon as possible as the event has quickly sold out in past years.

Tickets are inclusive of all food and beverage. Brewery and the Beast is a 19+ event, so no minors are permitted to enter. The festival will run rain or shine.
