UPDATE –VicPD investigators would like to speak to anyone who would have been in or around Highrock Park (Cairn Park) between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night, September 20. Investigators are specifically looking for information on a white man, in his late 30s or early 40s years with close-cropped hair walking a dark coloured dog and a light coloured dog.

VicPD is issuing a public warning, as Special Victims Unit detectives investigate a report of a sexual assault in Esquimalt, that occurred last night.
Police attended the area of Cairn Park, also known as Highrock Park, after a report of a sexual assault just after 8:00 p.m. Officers located a woman there, and she was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At this time, the investigation is in its preliminary stages. People in the area are asked to report anything suspicious to police.
