On Saturday night, August 8th, Phantogram played in Victoria in a sold out performance at Sugar Nightclub, presented by Atomique Productions, as part of their around the world THREE tour. The upstate New York duo of best friends Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter mixed it up with fan favorites like Black Out Days and Fall In Love, as well as songs from their much anticipated new album “Three” – which just been dropped yesterday. Darker and yet also perhaps more commercially accessible, part of its tone reflects the trauma of the unexpected death of Barthel’s sister who was also Carter’s good friend. The crowd sang and danced with Barthel’s passionate renditions, the duo have been making music together since 2007 and have since built a loyal following around the world.
