The Island Farm Santa Claus Parade is returning for its thirty-fifth year this Saturday, November 26.
This year’s parade features 83 entries with about 1600 participants. Floats, marching bands, and performers will make their way down the streets in celebration of the holiday season. Organizations, businesses, and communities in Greater Victoria are represented, with a visit from the big man himself, Saint Nicholas.
Donation for the Mustard Seed Food Bank will be accepted during and after the parade.
The parade starts at 5:45 p.m. at Government and Belleville; ending about 60 minutes later at McPherson Playhouse. After the parade, make your way to Centennial Square for refreshments from Island Farms and witness Santa officially declare Christmas in Victoria open!
