Share

The Victoria Royals will be hosting Remembrance Day on Friday, November 11 when they take on the Tri-City Americans. Any Canadian Forces member that shows their military ID prior to the game will receive a free ticket.

The Royals will be wearing Military themed jerseys, which will feature the Canadian Forces logo, in honour of the Canadian Forces, past and present.

The same jeresys will also be worn on November 19th, when the Royals play the Regina Pats on Canadian Forces Appreciation Night. The jerseys will then be available in a live jersey auction at the end of the game, and throughout the season via a silent auction. Proceeds will support the Military Family Resource Centre and Victoria Royals Education & Scholarship Fund.

The pregame ceremony will include rappellers coming down from the rafters, a moment of silence and a ceremonial faceoff.
