Three places to watch the Oscars in Victoria on Sunday

The 89th Academy Awards are already less than a week away.

While many Hollywood types say the films nominated for this year’s Oscar awards are not the strongest crop of late, there will still be plenty of star-power on display Sunday afternoon at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Presenters include Samuel L. Jackson, Emma Stone, Amy Adams, Dwight “The Rock” Johnson, and Scarlett Johansson.  Justin Timberlake will perform “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, one of five songs nominated for best original.

The red-carpet pre-show special starts at 3 pm, with the main event at 5:30 pm, this Sunday, February 26th. Jimmy Kimmel is this year’s host.

Here are three places where you can watch all the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards in Victoria.

Pagliacci’s

Located on Broad St., Pagliacci’s Restaurant will host their annual Oscar Dinner, but it usually sells out, check with them first, before making plans.
