Well look no further, because starting June 28th, you’ll be able to make a refreshing stop at Oaklands Sunset Market every Wednesday after work!
Set to run from 4.30PM – 8.30PM every Wednesday until August 30th, this all-inclusive community gathering is the perfect way to get through the week.
From local food vendors and producers, to live music by local artists, to a bi-weekly beer garden sponsored by Hoyne Brewing Co. – there’s going to be something for everyone there!
The idea behind Oaklands Sunset Market is to have a sort of weekly community gathering, in which everyone gets to celebrate the sunshine, meet new people, and have fun all while getting to try out and support some of the best food, music, and products this city has to offer.
But that’s not all – each week, the market will be hosting special events such as the Kid’s Vendor Day, Bike Fest, Funk Fest, and their annual Sunset Slam hosted by Victoria City Councillor, Jeremy Loveday.
“It’s a place you can meet your neighbours and the farmers who grew your dinner,” says Loveday, “That’s what building community is all about.”
