VicPD are searching for a suspect after a man was randomly pepper sprayed outside of the Bay Center Thursday morning.
Police were called to the mall at around 9:45 a.m. after receiving reports of an assault with a weapon.
A man reportedly pepper-sprayed a random bystander while chasing a couple into the Bay Center.
Residual amounts of the spray then began affecting people nearby.
Police described the suspect as aboriginal, in his 30s, wearing jeans, a plaid jacket and black baseball cap with an orange logo.
He has a light beard, and there was a silver ring on his finger.
