Lost camera full of family photos found in downtown Victoria

Share

Do you recognize this family?

A camera was found in downtown Victoria full of photos of a family on a trip around the world. Kara Prachnau, of Sooke, posted on Facebook, asking the public for help.

“My daughter, Olivia, found a camera at her store in downtown Victoria,” she wrote. “The camera is FULL of travel photos that this beautiful family took.”

“These people have been touring the world and we feel sad that they have lost their photo memories of their adventures,” she continued. “It’s hard to tell where the family resides, since they travel SO much!”

Prachnau noted “Malaysian connections” among the photos as well as European locations, Disneyland in China, Niagara Falls, the British Virgin Islands, and most recently a whale watching tour in Victoria, British Columbia.

Some Progress Made

According to the comments of the post, some progress in finding the family has been made through the whale watching company.

But until the family is found, keep sharing the photos. Hopefully the power of the internet can return them to their rightful owners.
