One of Victoria’s own has made it to the finals of SiriusXM’s Top Comic competition and he needs your votes to win.
Myles Anderson has steadily gained a reputation as one of Canada’s brightest young comedians.
He was recently featured on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud alongside fellow Victorian Chelsea Lou and has performed for crowds across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
Currently battling it out with 17 other comics in the semi-final stage, Anderson’s progress relies on votes from the public. From now until August 18, you can vote every day on each of your devices to help him advance.
Last year, Victoria comedian Mike Delamont made it to the final round before losing out to Chris Robinson.

How The Competition Works
The top six with the most votes and two “wild card” picks will advance to the final round.
All 8 finalists will perform live at the SiriusXM Top Comic Comedy Finale on September 28th. A panel of judges will then select one winner: SiriusXM’s Top Comic.
That Top Comic winner will get to perform three of Canada’s biggest comedy festivals in 2018 and takes home $25,000 to support their comedic career development.
There will be two runners up, both of whom will get TV spots next year in Montreal and be paired up as a double-threat for the following JFL42.
