Saanich Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a rare puppy that was stolen from a parked vehicle on Friday.
Red, a four-month-old Redbone Coonhound, was stolen from his owner’s vehicle at Tillicum Centre mall around noon.
The owner left the dog in the vehicle for a short time and discovered him missing upon his return.
“My Brothers puppy was stolen from his car today while James ran in to the grocery store. Outside of Save on Foods in Tillicum Mall, in Victoria,” Claire Delia wrote on Facebook.
“He is an uncommon breed, a Redbone Coonhound. Currently he is 30lbs and a reddish-brown colour,” she added.
