Mr. Lube is offering free oil changes for veterans across Canada

This Friday, November 10, Mr. Lube locations across Canada will be showing appreciation to Canadian Forces veterans in the form of free oil changes.

Veterans can visit any of British Columbia’s 23 locations, including three on Vancouver Island, to receive a free warranty-approved oil change.

The program was first implemented in Kelowna in 2014 by Franchise Owner, Darren Pierce, and was so well received by the community that Mr. Lube decided to continue the program.

Tens of thousands of veterans live in BC

According to Archie Steacy, President of the British Columbia Veterans Commemorative Association, there are over 90,000 veterans who call British Columbia home.

“Mr. Lube is not forgetting Canada’s veterans; recognizing and honouring their courage and self-sacrifice that made Canadians proud, strong, and free,” Steacy added.

“On behalf of all British Columbia veterans, I wish to extend our most heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Lube for its thoughtful recognition of our military service for Canada.”
