Victoria’s new Comic Con adds Canadian talent to line up

Share

In October, we reported on the Capital City Comic Con as a great outlet for people looking to let out their inner nerd.

Over three days, visitors will be able to partake in guest panels, signings, cosplay, vendors and more in the Victoria Conference Centre and Crystal Garden.

The event, which runs from March 13th – 18th, is now adding MORE Canadian talent to its line up!

Canadian actress Leah Cairns is joining the fun! Cairns has been on cult shows such as BattleStar Galatica, and now appears on the popular Netflix series, Travelers.

Hosted by Tourism Victoria, the Downtown Victoria Business Association, and the National Toy Museum of Canada (represented by Cherry Bomb Toys), Comic Con is a new addition to the Victoria cultural scene.

“We are really looking forward to having a singular event that brings together everything from celebrity experiences to table-top gaming to hands-on experiences with LEGO masters,” said Candice Woodward of Cherry Bomb Toys on the Capital City Comic Con website.
