On Sunday, January 7th, Victoria Police were called to a business downtown, where a man was “causing mischief”.
The incident occurred in the 1900-Douglas Street and officers were able to find the guy right away, since they were given a pretty good description of what he looks like.
He was arrested, and after being searched, was found carrying over $7,000, and about 230 grams of suspected drugs – police believe that they might be laced with fentanyl.
They are recommending charges of mischief under $5000, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and failure to comply with probation order.
