RCMP are looking for information on stolen vehicle used in Nanaimo murder

RCMP are looking for information on a silver 2002 Audi S6 station wagon, which is believed to have been used in a targeted shooting death in Nanaimo.

The vehicle was reported stolen from the lower mainland, and it is believed to have been transported on a BC Ferry vessel to Vancouver Island between January 3rd-12th.

The vehicle is believed to be connected to the death of 34-year old Troy McKinnon.

The Audi was set on fire several blocks away shortly after the shooting.

RCMP hope someone spotted the stolen car or its occupants on the way to the island.
