Last week, an Oak Bay couple came home to find a disturbing scene.
According to Oak Bay police on Thursday, January 25th, an intruder had made his way into a home in the 2000-block of Crescent Road, and proceeded to try to steal several objects.
The police responded to a 911 call by a woman, who stated that her husband was in the process of restraining the unwelcome visitor, before the line was cut.
When authorities showed up at about 4:45 PM, they found the husband restraining the trespasser on the back porch of the property.
The 21 year old suspect was previously known the Oak Bay PD, and was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, assault, theft, and failing to comply with court imposed conditions.
