Saturday, February 17th

Repair Cafe

What: Have an alarm clock that won’t buzz or a pair of pants that needs mending? Don’t toss it! Bring it to the Repair Café where you can get help fixing household items. Drop in.

Victoria Seedy Saturday

What: You know its Spring when Victoria Seedy Saturday comes to town!  Farmers and gardeners alike come together to swap seeds for bountiful and biodiverse crops and gardens.  It is no secret that Victoria Seedy Saturday is a community platform for networking and learning the tricks of the trade.  We have 17 Educational Speaker presentations and new this year, hands on workshops throughout the day.  Beyond chickens and bees, you will find seed, seedlings, plants and Master Gardeners to answer all your horticulture questions. Shop at more than 60 local exhibitors who have donated numerous door prizes, play at Youth Action Activities station, browse the gardening book exchange and have a snack or lunch at the Seedy Cafe’. There is something fun for everyone.

8th Annual February Fox Fair

What: A fabulous designer craft fair featuring locally handmade clothing, jewelry, pottery, kids clothing and toys and more! Come shop through the wares of 35+ local makers and pick up a belated Valentine gift for your loves, your friends, yourself. Don’t forget to bring cash and your reusable bag to this annual community market.

Crimes of the Heart

What: Through teasing and laughter, the Magrath sisters relive sweet memories and confront past resentments at their Grandaddy’s house, after the youngest sister Babe is arrested for shooting her abusive husband. Each sister must come to terms with the consequences of their own crimes of the heart. Humorous and heartfelt, this Pulitzer prize-winning black comedy, written by Beth Henley, beautifully captures the incredible power of family.
