The British Columbia tourism industry is thriving, even in the winter months!
According to a Statistics Canada report, BC has seen a 3.3% increase in the number of visitors arriving in the province in December 2017, compared to December 2016.
A total of 5.7 million people from all around the world travelled to BC and stayed overnight, marking the status of the province as a prime tourist destination.
Statistics Canada attributes this growth to several factors, including the rise in accessibility of several international markets like Australia, Germany, Mexico, China and France.
