Canada wins four medals on second day of PyeongChang Winter Olympics

It looks like the team from the True North is doing incredibly well in South Korea!

Canada currently ranks number 4 in the overall medal count at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, with 3 silver medals and 1 bronze.

Athletes Max Parrot, Ted-Jan Bloeman, and Justine Dufour-Lapointe all won silver medals in Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle, Men’s Speed Skaing (Long Track) 5000m, and Women’s Freestyle Skiing Moguls respectively. Mark McMorris brought home the bronze in Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle.

Overall ranking

Team Canada currently places number four in the total medal tally, just after Germany at #3, the Netherlands at #2, and Norway at #1.
