RCMP seek public assistance in solving 2015 Victoria murder case

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit is looking for help in solving the case of 49-year-old Peter Hunter Thompson who was found dead in his apartment in the 400-block of Michigan Street on February 18th, 2015.

In what remains an open and ongoing investigation, the RCMP wants you to step forward if you can help them figure out where Thompson was and what he was doing in the hours and days before his death.

“Any information, even though it may seem insignificant, can assist in the investigation and his family deserves some answers,” stated Cpl. Tammy Douglas in a press release.

They’ve also issued a reminder that CrimeStoppers pays up to $2,000 to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
