Yesterday, we brought to you the news of some upgrades being made at The Bay Centre in downtown Victoria, in preparation for the arrival of a mysterious new tenant.
According to several sources, the new 20,000 square foot, multi-level store slated to open up in spring 2019 will probably be…*cue drumroll*…Winners!
Blueprint maps of where the 2-storey retail store will be located in the building have recently emerged online.

According to the drawings, the store will occupy the section of the building that falls on the corner of View and Douglas Streets.
Bay Centre management cannot confirm anything at this point, stating that it’s up to the tenant to announce the opening.
“Our goal is to become a shoppers’ first destination by welcoming new tenants, events, and partners as we embrace the overall growth of downtown,” says Darlene Hollstein, General Manager of The Bay Centre.
“Over the long-term, the realignment of the stores and services that are in The Bay Centre is intended to further enhance the shopping experience for those who live, work, and play downtown.”
