April Fool’s Scavenger Hunt

What: Get into the April Fool’s spirit by taking part in the scavenger hunt. Pick up a handout, featuring important clues, at the Box Office and see if you can spot the subtle tricks our exhibits staff have played in the museum galleries.

Where: The Royal BC Museum

Mitchell Villa – Epilogue

What: The Last of Mitchell’s acrylic paintings will be on display in the gallery. As the Artist switches over to oil as a medium, like the end of an era, these large pieces stand as a testament to his skill with the medium.

Brett Smith-Daniels live at The Loft

What: UK based singer-guitarist Brett Smith-Daniels has performed on stage with Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones, toured North America and the UK, and has been featured on CBC’S Dragons Den, as well as conducting interviews for BBC Radio 1, and The Independent (UK). March 30th he is joined by local musicians Dougie Bedell of Pastel Blank on bass, and virtuoso drummer Cole Burns of The Leaks on Drums for a night of Blues, Soul, and Rock and Roll classics at The Loft.

Bass Hive featuring Weston and Bad Rabbit

What: Why the Bass Hive? In the beehive superorganism all members are aiming for the same goal; ensuring the survival of the colony. The Bass Hive is a series of events that wants to bring the Victoria Bass community together to ensure the survival of our festival minds over the winter.

Joi, a house music event

What: Kitakaze and Heavy J are set to house you to death. In a rare event where the planets, stars and our busy calendars align, these two come together, as always, to provide serious house grooves, eclectic and fresh with their vinyl sound.
