A&W restaurant planned for development along Pat Bay Highway (PHOTOS)

Fancy a snack break on your next island road trip?

A piece of property along Pat Bay Highway that has thus far been occupied by a Fas Gas gas station is soon to be converted into a three-building complex.

Besides a new Chevron gas station, it will house an A&W restaurant with a drive-thru (we’re craving a teen burger just thinking about it), an On-the-Run convenience store, and two other businesses that have yet to be announced.

The 3,700 sq ft property on 5488 Pat Bay Hwy will also have room for 30 parked vehicles.

Vancouver-based company, Urban Design Group Architects Ltd, has submitted their plans to the District of Saanich, and it could be put into motion as early as next year.
