Comedy Vertigo: Chinatown

What: Get ready to laugh your ass off at Comedy Vertigo! The UVic Lampoon’s hit comedy show is breaking out of the Vertigo Lounge (but keeping the name) and coming to downtown Victoria! As usual, your host will be the lanky, lovable Alistair Ogden.

Round 2: Victoria Royals vs. Tri-City Americans

What: Get ready to cheer on your Victoria Royals as they battle it out against the Tri-City Americans! The Royals conquered the Vancouver Giants in round 1 in a thrilling 7 game series, and now they’re needing you to help cheer them on in the first game of round 2!

Poets Laureate Night

What: An evening of poetry readings by Vancouver Island Poets Laureate. Victoria Poet Laureate Yvonne Blomer will be accompanied by former Parliamentary Poet Laureate George Elliott Clarke, the City’s new Youth Poet Laureate Agartu Ali, City of Nanaimo Poet Laureate Tina Biello, and Comox Valley Poet Laureate Natalie Nickerson. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Battle of the Bands Finale!

What: Dance the night away to amazing local talent! Every vote helps your favourite band win the grand prize of $750, a day in a recording studio with a tech, and a guaranteed paid headlining show next year!

OK Charlie
