Welcome to April! It’s a new month, the weather is nice – it’s a pretty great Monday! We got events for everyone, whether you wanna admire local art or laugh the night away!

Here are 5 things to do in and around Victoria today!

Monday Open Mic

What:  If you want to laugh, or want to make other people laugh – Hecklers is the place to be tonight! Come watch (or try) professional and amateur comedians from all over the island!
Where: Hecklers Comedy Club

When: Sign up at 7:30, show at 8pm.
Cost: $5 cover charge!

Open Circle for Women

What: You are welcome to an evening in sacred circle where women gather together and share the truth of who they are and what is happening in their lives. This is a place of confidentiality, encouragement & accountability.
Where: 26 Bastion Square
When: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Everyone Welcome Easter Monday Skate

What: During this skate, there will be a small area of the ice set up for a beginner’s hockey game. There will also be ice games such as octopus and go-go-stop. Come out and have fun listening to great music and getting crafty in the craft station.

West Coast Wildlife and Landscape Photography with a ‘Taste of Africa’

What: Local photographer Helen B. Watt is showcasing her collection of beautiful West Coast images of dramatic landscapes and seascapes, engaging wildlife and colourful botanicals. The show will feature a ‘Taste of Africa’, exhibiting 2017 work from Kenya and Tanzania.

Mompreneur Monday

What: The Victoria Public Market continue to be inspired by the number of talented moms in Victoria who are juggling kids and running a homegrown business. They’ll be showcasing the creations of talented local Mompreneurs in a craft fair style event every month! Vendors will be set up in the center of the market and selling everything from Handmade Artwork, Accessories and Jewellery, Children’s Clothing, Toys, Sweet Treats, and more!
