Esquimalt Farmer’s Market Pop Up Market

What: Find local fresh produce, a variety of food products, beverages, local artisans, and live music at this community gathering. EFM supports local growers and producers who engage in environmentally sound farming practices, and encourages backyard farmers to help nourish their community with their quality products.

Museum Happy Hour!

What: Tired of the same old thing? Why not come to the Royal BC Museum after work and try something new! Enjoy drink and food specials while you explore a gallery and take part in different themed activities for adults only.

Free JavaScript Essentials Workshop

What: Want a taste of the world of a Web Developer? Led by members of the Lighthouse Labs team, come introduce yourself to the worlds most popular programming language: JavaScript! They’ll be covering the basics of JS for people with little to no coding experience, where you’ll get the chance to explore the fundamentals of web development by building a web-based chatroom in the same vein as Twitch or Slack.

Painting & A Tasting – Workshop Flowers and Still Life

What: Participants will learn various techniques of creating flower an plant images with simple, free shapes, and learn about ‘cutting in’ – going back in with paint around the shapes for a dramatic background.Through demonstrations by the artist, participants can further develop their images with metallic highlighter pens. We will work from a flower display but magazines etc. will also be available.

Thursday Night Comedy Pro-Am

What: Weekly standup comedy show for your pleasure, with a rotating lineup featuring some of the best acts in town.
