These BC Ferries trips will cost way less over the summer

Share

Getting on and off the island will be significantly less expensive for travellers during the summer who take advantage of BC Ferries’ annual ‘Sunrise and Sunset Savings‘ promotion.

From June 1st to September 30th, under-height vehicle and drivers can choose to board one of the 2,100 added early morning and late evening sailings for $49.90.

The promotion is available on the following routes going in either direction:

  • Vancouver – Victoria (Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay)
  • Vancouver – Nanaimo (Tsawwassen – Duke Point)
  • West Vancouver – Nanaimo (Horseshoe Bay-Departure Bay)
  • West Vancouver – Sunshine Coast (Horseshoe Bay – Langdale)

Although reservations aren’t required in order to avail the promotion, it is strongly recommended because of the busy travel period.

Without a reservation, space is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
