It’s no secret that home prices are exceptionally high in B.C.
That holds true for the luxury market, with six of the 10 most expensive homes in the country located here in the province.
A May 24 report from Point2 Homes shows a list of homes ranging in price from $25 million to $38 million—the most expensive being in Vancouver.
The second most expensive home, listed for $35 million, is in Toronto, ON.
Three of the top 10 are located in Vancouver, while three more in Bute Inlet, Surrey, and Whistler round out the six in B.C.
High as those prices are, Point2 Homes say they’ve actually toned down in 2018 compared to last year, when the highest-priced home for sale listed for $63 million.
No properties from Vancouver Island make the list, but a cursory search of real estate listings turns up a home on Pender Island for sale at a reasonable-by-comparison price of $9,850,000.
There’s also a listed $14,999,999 luxury home along Oak Bay’s Uplands waterfront.
