An Evening With Macy Gray

What: A gifted songwriter and dazzlingly singular singer with a distinctive
raspy style, Macy Gray’s voice has drawn comparisons with Billy
Holiday, Janis Joplin, and Tina Turner to name a few. Gray has
released six studio albums and received five Grammy nominations,
winning one in 2001 for her multiplatinum debut album On How Life
Is. Her hit single, “I Try,” remains one of her best-known songs today.

2 hour Guided Kayak Full Moon Paddle

BYO Bag Launch

Emergency Preparedness Workshop

What: Are you prepared for an emergency? Register for a free, 90-minute workshop to learn what it will take for you and your family to be prepared for a power outage, winter storm or a natural disaster such as an earthquake or tsunami. Depending on the emergency, your family needs to be prepared with enough food, water, medication and supplies to cope up to seven days without outside assistance.

Phillips Comedy Night

What: The funniest night of the week is this Wednesday at The Mint! Each week Morgan Cranny and Drew Farrance bring the most hilarious comedian’s in the city together for a wonderful evening of fun at the best venue for stand up comedy in Victoria.
