Here’s how you can be a part of Victoria’s ‘living flag’ on Canada Day

Share

This Canada Day, unleash your inner patriot by being a part of Victoria’s living Canada flag.

Last year, over 5,000 people dressed up in red and white and assembled at the Legislature lawns to form one giant Canadian flag – and it turned out to be the largest living flag formation in the country!

And this year, on July 1st, the City of Victoria and Coast Capital Savings are trying to attain that epic title again, which is why you can reserve your spot well in advance.

All you have to do is gather a group of 10 or more friends and you’ll be given priority placement in the flag, which guarantees skipping the line for a red and/or white T-shirt. Click here to register.

Alternatively, you can also just head over to Legislature lawn on July 1st and enter the individual t-shirt line for a chance to be in the living flag.

The Living Flag will take place at 2 p.m. but everyone must register by 12:30 p.m.
