Victoria police confiscated an unlicensed firearm after its owner threatened to harm himself and others with it over the weekend.
VicPD responded to a call at a residence in the 1900-block of Duchess Street on Saturday night (June 9th), after a man threatened to kill himself and others.
In a release, police said he was in possession of an unlicensed shotgun, which was seized before he could injure himself or anyone else.
Police took the man into custody for a mental health review.
