Victoria police were called in response to reports of an assault with a weapon in Vic West on Friday.
The assault occurred sometime before 11:53 a.m. in the 200 block of Russell Street.
Police said there appeared to be one person with non-life threatening injuries.
Just before noon, VicPD tweeted that they had located the parties involved, and that the injuries reported did not require medical treatment.

We've located the parties involved in the reported assault with weapon call. The non-life-threatening injuries do not appear to require medical treatment. Our Patrol officers will work to sort this file out.
