FreshAir Films Saanich: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)

What:  Join the adventure as The Rock, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan make an action-packed run through the jungle and for their lives in the hilarious 2017 family comedy hit JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE! It’s a FREE outdoor screening under the stars at the Cadboro-Gyro Park, courtesy of Fortis BC and Saanich Parks & Recreation on Friday, July 6 at dusk. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets!

Star Wars Party Fundraiser

What: Come for an epic night of everything Star Wars with proceeds going to Wild Arc (Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre). They’ll have a live cantina jazz band, performances, video games and board games, and a photo booth from 8-10pm with BC’s Outer Rim Garrison . Dress up of course! If you love Star Wars and animals you won’t want to miss this!

What: The New Waves play the best of the late 70s and 80s new wave, featuring full synth sounds, multiple vocals and a kicking rhythm section the band take you on a journey back in time! Ignio Circus Eyes Up

What: Everyone relies on technology everyday as a vehicle for communication. But what do we do once it drops us off at our destination? “Eyes Up” is about our natural desire to connect; what happens when we look up to find a genuine human encounter right in front of us. The show is made up of a cast of top level experienced professional circus artists from around the world; their breathtaking physical abilities will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Through an incredible mix of acrobatics, juggling and comedy we explore and express the beauty and awkwardness of interacting face to face. The Big Gay Dog Walk

Uptown Summer Movie Series
