Halo Top Creamery is bringing new non-dairy flavours to Canada

Vegans and lactose-intolerant ice cream lovers rejoice!

Halo Top Creamery – a popular LA-based ice cream company – arrived in Canadian stores earlier this year and now they’ve announced the release of four new non-dairy flavours.

Select Loblaw and Sobeys stores across the country carrying the product will be carrying vegan-friendly Peanut Butter Swirl, Toasted Coconut, Birthday Cake and Chocolate ice cream flavours starting mid-July.

“The response to Halo Top’s launch in Canada has been incredible,” said Doug Bouton, President & COO of Halo Top.

Canada was our most requested country before launching there earlier this year and, after launching, our non-dairy pints became our No. 1 requested item from Canadians. So, we listened and responded as quickly as possible, just in time for Canadians to enjoy for the rest of the summer!”

The company earned the title of America’s best-selling pint of ice cream in 2017, and these new flavours made with coconut milk promise to deliver the same richness of flavour as their dairy counterparts.

Each serving of dairy-free Halo Top (about four servings per pint) has 80-100 calories and only 6-8 grams of sugar.

We can’t wait to get our hands on this guilt-free sweet treat this summer!
