Victoria Police are currently investigating a report involving weapons.
According to a tweet, officers have taken two people into custody after responding to a call involving weapons in Bastion Square at around 3:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
The arrests were made after a group of people were involved in an altercation in the area. Officers were able to break up the dispute minutes after it was reported.
According to VicPD spokesperson Bowen Osoko, the weapon was not a firearm. No injuries were reported, and no other information is available at this time.
The incident is still under investigation.
