Victoria’s first delivery-only restaurant has shut down for good.
Launched in 2015, ‘My Accio’ was an online food delivery service named after a magic spell used to summon objects in the popular Harry Potter book/movie series.
Their dishes were made in ‘The Kitchen’, where chefs used local ingredients to create sumptuous meals that elicited rave reviews across the board.
Diners had the option of ordering online on the My Accio website or app, and those who wished to physically pick up their food could also to do so at the Victoria Public Market.
According to the company’s social media sites, they are now permanently closed as of Saturday, July 7th. Many Victorians reacted to the news with sadness and disbelief on the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
