Saanich police release surveillance footage of suspect in armed robbery (VIDEO)

Police have released surveillance footage of an armed robbery suspect at a Saanich convenience store.

The robbery happened Friday, June 30 around 1:30 a.m. near Burnside and Harriet where there is a 7-11 store.

According to scanner reports, the suspect used a large knife to commit the robbery.

Police said there were no injuries and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The video was released in hopes the public can help identify the alleged suspect.
