This isn’t something you see every day!
On June 26th, travel photographer and writer Matt Whelan posted an incredible image on Instagram that we think perfectly captures the essence of Vancouver Island.
The photo shows a beautiful Pacific white-sided dolphin frolicking in the bow wave of the ‘M.V. Coho’ ferry as it crosses the Strait of Juan de Fuca, with the iconic Fisgard Lighthouse making an appearance in the background.
It’s picture-perfect times like these that make us thankful to be living in such a beautiful place!
