A search and rescue dog named Moxxii is missing its unique harness after it was stolen overnight from a booth located at Petapalooza.

Moxxii’s owner, Angela Lavergn a member off the Search and Rescue Dog Association of Victoria (SARDAV) took to Facebook after discovering their booth at the event had been rummaged through.

“Came in to open the booth today [Sunday] at Petapalooza to find that our booth had been gone thru. Moxxii’s harness was taken,” Lavergn wrote on her Facebook post.

“This is her working harness. Some of the badges on her vest can not be replaced – from soldiers that went overseas,” she added.

Several other items were missing including a large metal dog crate.

Lavergn is asking for the community to keep a watch for the harness being sold online.

“If you see this on Craigslist – Usedvic – VarageSale please get it.”

Anyone with information should contact police or Crime Stoppers.
