Nerd Nite Victoria September 2018
- What: The second edition of Nerd Nite in Victoria BC! In this global science event enthusiasts talk about their passion in the company of beer in an informal atmosphere. The audience consists of anyone who is interested in science, geeky subjects and other passions!
- Where: Nerd Nite Victoria – 1415 Broad Street
- When: 7 PM – 10 PM
Vic Slam ft. Emma Field
- What: Slam is competitive poetry, which sounds weird and is a ton of fun. There will be 12 slots open for sign up. Each poet will get 3 minutes to perform and will be judged by five members of the audience. The top five scoring poets will go on to the second round and compete to be the Slam Champion of the night. Door price is $6-10 sliding scale.
- Where: Caffè Fantastico Specialty Coffees – 965 Kings Road
- When: Third Wednesday of every month. Tonight is the season kick off. Sign up is at 7:30 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm.
Phillips Comedy Night at the Mint
- What: The funniest night of the week is Wednesday at The Mint! Each week Morgan Cranny and Drew Farrance bring the most hilarious comedian’s in the city together for a wonderful evening of fun at the best venue for stand up comedy in Victoria.Wildly popular and always new, Phillips Comedy Night is a hilarious night out.

- What: Feel like testing your musical knowledge on Victoria’s largest and most serious stage? Well quite frankly that sounds like an entirely different event. The whole gang is back and word has it Evan MacDonald will be serenading the crowd with all of your favourite Rihanna tracks during breaks!!!! (S&M? Yes please!!) Laughter, prizes, and cheap drinks!
