Victoria Royals vs Kamloops Blazers – Rematch!
- What: The Victoria Royals’ Phillip Schultz electrified the crowd with the game winning goal with 1:05 remaining in regulation as the club edged the Kamloops Blazers 3-2 on Friday night. Victoria are 3-0 to start the season.
- When: Puck drops at 7:05, doors open at 6 pm
- Where: Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre - 1925 Blanshard St
SOGI 123 Protest and Counter Protest
- What: Two conflicting rallies are scheduled to take place in front of the BC Parliament Building this Saturday — one against and another in support of the provincial Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI 123) educational initiative.
- When: Saturday, September 29th, starting between 10:45 and 11:05 a.m.
- Where: BC Parliament building
Defence at the Dock
- What: This weekend, the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) in Esquimalt will be hosting Defence at the Dock, a free open-house style event where people can get a first-hand look at rad military vehicles and assets, and watch a performance of the Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks.
- When: Sunday, September 30, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Circus Is Coming!
- What: Circus acts from all over the world are coming to Esquimalt to perform for the first time ever. It is a brand new show you won’t want to miss.
- When: Saturday: 3:30, 5:30 & 7:30pm. Sunday: 3:30 & 5:30pm.
- Where: Bullen Park – 527 Fraser St.
Take a Hike!
- What: Join the 6-km easy, guided hike along the lakeshore through old growth forest trails and equestrian paths, past serene lily ponds and the fishing pier, finishing at the popular Hamsterly Beach picnic and swimming area. https://bit.ly/2xigASD

Spaw Day With Flirting With Fido
- What: Flirting with Fido is coming for a Spaw Day with some of their adoptable doggies for you to meet! Nail trimming by donation from Diamond Dogs Grooming in support of Flirting with Fido dog rescue! All donations go directly to Flirting with Fido.

Vancouver Island Corn Maze
- What: The main entrance is divided into six different trails. Four of these trails, take you into our smaller maze (dog & rooster). The remaining two trails take you deeper into the maze where we have placed 16 reference points for guidance. There is a “Walking trail” (~1km long) that goes around the maze but is not connected to the maze. It is great for a nice 15 min walk.
