75-year-old pedestrian seriously injured in Oak Bay vehicle collision

Oak Bay police are seeking witnesses in a collision that severely injured a 75-year-old man.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 17th at 6:40 p.m. on Cadboro Bay Road at
Epworth Street.

A vehicle struck the elderly pedestrian causing serious injuries. He is now in the hospital in stable condition.

According to Oak Bay Police Deputy Chief Ray Bernoties, the vehicle was a GMC Yukon, and the driver stayed at the scene until first responders and officers arrived.
