There was an unusual site in Central Saanich Sunday as a parade of dozens of tractors made its way across the community honouring the late Silver Rill Corn farmer Ken Fox.
A host of brightly coloured tractors departed Silver Rill Corn on Central Saanich Road, and made its way down several roads and past Centennial Park ending at the Saanich Fairgrounds where a celebration of life was held.
The procession was led by Ken Fox’s son Clayton who has been managing the Silver Rill Farm for the past four years.
Fox was 65-years-old when he died on August 18th and was a third-generation farmer at the popular Central Saanich corn farm.
