Work Experience & Career Fair

  • What: Curious about where your degree can take you? Come talk with over 50 organizations to learn about work opportunities and possible careers. You can also connect with grad schools.Stop by the Career Prep Corner across the fall for resources to make the most of the fair.
  • When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Scenic Route to Alaska LIVE in Victoria w/ Peach Pyramid

  • What: SRTA return to Victoria with their current album Tough Luck. Substance and accessibility. They’re often considered opposing forces when it comes to pop music, making it all the more impressive when a band like Scenic Route to Alaska so effortlessly delivers ample doses of both.
  • When: 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Where: Copper Owl – 1900 Douglas Street

Music Bingo

  • What:
    B: Bring a friend or just come by yourself!
    I: Imagine the fun you can have kicking butt at music bingo!

Topaz After School Bike Club

  • What: Topaz Bike Club will provide an awesome skill based training for kids through small exercises and games. Offered by a Certified Professional Mountain Bike Instructor (PMBI).Come bike with our son and his friends after school! We want to get more kids outside, playing having fun and using Topaz Park! There are cones, small obstacles, chalk, lots of ideas for skill building games. Event per donation (suggested donation $10). See us in person for payment.
  • When: 3:30 p.m. – event will run weekly until the end of October. Weather dependent – light rain is ok.

Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs

  • What: If learning about ancient pyramids, hieroglyphs, and mummies sounds like an awesome way to spend your summer, then walk like an Egyptian down to the Royal BC Museum. The exhibit gives visitors a glimpse into all aspects of ancient Egyptian life, from the emergence of ancient Egyptian civilization along the Nile to the Ptolemaic and Roman eras.
