Treat yourself to a movie this month – it’s on Cineplex!

On October 27th, the company is hosting their annual Community Day, which means guests get a selection of popular movies to view for free.

Proceeds from donations and concession sales will go to WE Charity – an organization that gives people the tools to make positive changes in the world.

Besides a free movie, customers will also have access to popcorn, drinks, and candy for a lowered price of $2.50.

Here’s the selection of free films:

  • Sherlock Gnomes
  • Daddy’s Home 2
  • Transformers: The Last Knight
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows
  • Book Club

Theatres nationwide will open their doors on Community Day at 9 a.m., with movies starting at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

“Community Day brings families together and gives them the opportunity to do good by creating impact through their movie-going experience,” said Craig Kielburger, co-founder, WE. ”

Thanks to Cineplex’s generous support, we are able to continue empowering young changemakers in Canada through our WE Schools program, by providing them with the tools they need to create meaningful change both at home and abroad.”

In Victoria, the participating locations are Cineplex Odeon Downtown, Cineplex Odeon West Shore, and Silver City Victoria.
