West Shore RCMP have posted an update regarding a motor vehicle collision in Colwood.
According to a tweet, police have closed off Veterans Memorial Parkway from Cairndale Rd to Latoria Rd, as of 11:45 a.m. this morning.
The closure is due to a gas leak that was caused by the collision, and crews are currently working to stop the leak.

RCMP are advising the public that the area is slick and dangerous, and it is best to avoid that part of town.
Victoria Buzz has reached out to West Shore RCMP for more information.
There are also several police cruisers and a police dog investigating a residential area nearby off of Cairndale Rd.
Witnesses tell Victoria Buzz officers are focusing on one area of the street. We have reached out to RCMP for confirmation the two incidents are related.
Online sources say that there were multiple injuries from the collision.
