No foul play is suspected after a body was found behind the Tim Hortons in the Saanich Plaza Tuesday morning.
Saanich police shut down Ravine Way between Pat Bay Highway and Vernon Avenue to motorists and pedestrians for several hours following the discovery.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics attended the scene after the sudden death was called in at about 11:30 a.m. The area has since been cleared.
The identity of the deceased has not been released but the cause of death is not suspicious.
