A 15-year-old boy was killed in a vehicle incident in Port Alberni this week.
RCMP and ambulances attended the site of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle at the intersection of Dunbar St and 10th Ave at 6:22 p.m. on Friday.
They found the young cyclist suffering from serious injuries, and he was transported to the hospital where he died the next day.
According to a press release, the driver of the vehicle remained on site and is cooperating with the police.
Port Alberni RCMP and BC Coroners Service are currently investigating the incident.
