Robert Wang Guitar Recital

Young virtuoso guitarist and composer Robert Wang will perform tonight at the University of Victoria. An exceptional talent, mature artistic expression, and dedication allowed Robert to become winner of several prestigious international competitions in the past three years, including the Montreal International Youth Competition in 2018.

Tickets for students under 30 are FREE! Event organizers don’t want anyone to miss the chance to be inspired and uplifted by the passion this young performer has for music.\

Campbell River Storm vs Peninsula Panthers

Catch a HIJHL hockey game between the Peninsula Panther and Campbell River Storm in North Saanich.

30th annual Out of Hand Modern Market

For the 30th year in a row, Out of Hand Modern Market will be setting up shop at the Victoria Conference Centre next weekend.

To celebrate the milestone, out of hand is bigger than ever with 125 artists and makers participating. The organizers have also renamed the event from the original “Out of Hand Artisan Fair,” added “Modern Market” and updated the branding to better reflect the atmosphere.

    Saturday, November 24th, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    Sunday, November 25th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The 27th Annual Festival of Trees at the Bay Centre has begun! See the Bay Centre transformed into a glowing forest of hand-decorated trees while you do your Black Friday shopping. Share in the spirit by voting for your favourite (like ours 😉), with all proceeds supporting the most urgent health care needs of kids in BC.

Trees will be on display at the Bay Centre starting November 15, 2018, through January 7, 2019.

The Owl Designer Fair

Come for the one of a kind vendors and stay for the live music, food trucks, and free craft workshops for all ages. There will be handmade gifts for everyone on your list from local designers, ceramics artists, woodworkers, jewellers, knitters, and candle makers.

  • When: Friday, November 23rd, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
    Saturday, November 24th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
