It’s the start of a short week. From tossing socks to magic and a little DJ Pauly D, here are 5 things to do in and around Victoria today, Tuesday November 13th.

Annual SOCK TOSS

Every year residents at the Glenshiel get together and donate socks or donations towards OUR PLACE to help those less fortunate. They’re inviting anyone who wants to donate socks to the cause (cash donations also accepted) to come by and BRING YOUR SOCKS!

It’s your chance to throw your socks at our great group of Staff for a really great CAUSE ~ Our Place.

  • When: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Where: The Mint Victoria – 1414 Douglas Street

DJ Pauly D in Victoria

Straight outta Jersey…and into Victoria! Paul DelVecchio, better known as DJ Pauly D, is bringing his GTL (gym, tan, laundry) lifestyle over to the island for the next two days.

After this Jersey Shore legend’s first show sold out in a flash, he’s decided to add another show in Victoria to please the masses!

  • When: Tuesday, November 13th and Wednesday, November 14th, 9 p.m.
    (note: Tuesday show is now sold out)

Langford JagMeet & Greet Langford

Join Jagmeet Singh in Langford to talk about the issues that matter most to you and to hear about his vision for a fairer Canada. This is a free, public event and all are welcome to attend.

Tricky Tuesday

Some of Victoria’s finest magicians join forces for a night of comedy, magic, mindreading and stuff that will make your head hurt!

Goodnight Mister Tom

A Drama by David Wood. Based on a book by Michelle Magorian.  Set during the dangerous build up to World War II, young William Beech is evacuated to the idyllic English countryside and forges a remarkable and heart warming friendship with the elderly recluse, Tom Oakley. All is perfect until William is suddenly summoned by his mother back to war-torn London. Winner of the 2013 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, this wonderfully uplifting tale inspires audiences and brings generations together.
